The footprint of European bamboo poles

Bamboo is becoming increasingly popular in the construction sector as a sustainable alternative for traditional fossil based materials. In collaboration with Dutch LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) specialists Agrodome and the independent assessor LBP|Sight, we have developed an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). This declaration provides insight into the environmental impact of bamboo poles grown in Europe, particularly from our Vidigueira bamboo farm in Portugal.
