Bamboo is the fastest-growing plant. It grows much faster than trees and yields on average 15 times more wood. Once the bamboo is full-grown, stable harvesting yields are assured for more than 100 years. Bamboo is on of the fastest renewable resources of biogenic origin.
sustainable
Every part of bamboo can be used. Bamboo absorbs huge amounts of CO2, regenerates soils and retains water. No pesticides or herbicides are used. Tillage and clearcutting are out of the question. Bamboo farming is a nature-inclusive and thus future-proof form of agriculture.
