Compensation

Bamboo is the CO2-storage champion

Compensate more

"Did you know that bamboo absorbs more carbon and produces more oxygen than trees?"

As a company and as an individual, you can compensate your CO2 footprint in several ways. Due to its fast growth and long lifespan, bamboo is one of the best crops in terms of carbon storage. Bamboo absorbs an average of 20 tonnes of CO2 per year / per hectare. Over a period of 30 years, this means compensation of 600 tonnes. In addition, there is an indirect compensation during the product lifetime of bamboo in sustainable products and through eliminated emissions through ‘product replacement’.

CO2 compensation

Your compensation has a direct impact

Your compensation does not just mean that your personal ecological footprint is compensated, but you also make a direct impact. With your support, we can develop more bamboo fields, remediate degraded agricultural land and create a new agricultural future for the region. In addition, this contributes to European climate goals.
